Our aim is to provide children, parents and families with a better service than ever before. The new, modern facilities within the nursery will give increased opportunities to enhance the children's learning and development including covered outside play spaces, enabling outdoor activity throughout the whole year for all age groups.
We will be able to offer longer opening times giving further flexibility to the working parent, with the option of a hot meal for children staying over the lunchtime period.
We will have the capacity to run holiday clubs for primary school age children.
A great new addition will be our sensory room, giving children of all abilities a room to rest, enjoy and explore.
The nursery will have rooms available for use by outside professionals, such as health visitors and speech and language therapists.
Our Play Cafe will be open to the public. This area will not only provide a great play space for the children, but a meeting place for parents to enjoy while their children have fun developing their social, emotional and physical skills.
There will be sessions for families to attend, including music groups, parent and toddler groups, health visitor drop-in visits and more.
TickTocks Nursery already offers support to extended families caring for children and families with children who have additional needs. Once we have the new facilities, we will be able to give greater support than ever before.
TickTocks will also be able to provide more jobs and training opportunities to the local community of Axminster.
